Common Questions

1.I workout 2 hours and 3 times a week, but do not see any results?

The reason you are not seeing results is there is no specific goal set. The three main goals people aim for are weight loss, muscle(strength) gains, or maintaining their physique. When you have a goal in mind you can work towards it through nutrition and training.

2. I eat healthy but I do not see any results?

Most people think they are eating healthy but they make simple mistakes when it comes to weight loss. A simple mistake is eating fruit by itself at night. Fruit will spike your insulin levels and promote fat storage. With Paul’s nutrition help and advice, you will not make mistakes like this.

3. I look online and I don’t know what exercises or program to do?

This is common with beginners. This program is simple and basic training, no fancy movements. You also get access to our video database so your get to see how the exercises are performed. You also get Paul’s weekly support and he will guide you to which exercises to start with that are customized to suit you.

4. I often hurt myself when I exercise. What am I doing wrong?

Most people think more is better. This is wrong as you need to have adequate rest in order for your body to recover. Rest and recovery is just as important as the training aspect.

About Your Trainer: Paul Nam

Paul Nam is the owner of TheWorkoutLoft and has been in the fitness industry for over 21 years. He started bodybuilding at the age of 18 and became the Junior Makenzie Bodybuilding Champion at the age of 19. Paul has since then competed in over 25 bodybuilding, fitness, and martial arts competitions. He has trained in Olympic style boxing, Brazilian jui-jitsu, muay thai, wrestling, and holds a red belt in tae kwon do.

Paul’s studio won gold medal for “Best Gym & Fitness Studio 2013″ and was voted ” Best Multi-Disciplined Fitness Studio in 2019 Toronto.” He was also nominated as one of the Top Fitness Instructor in Canada for 2021. Paul’s work has been featured on TV, radio, and podcasts across Canada and the United States.

Faq.

  1. Is this program right for me?

    Yes it is. If you are a beginner or advanced, Paul can create programs for your specific levels. Level 1 is beginner and level 2 is advanced.

  2. Do I need a gym membership for this program?

    No you do not. Paul can create customized programs to do at your home. All you need for home is some dumbbells, mat, and a flat bench.

  3. Is this face to face or online?

    This is an online training program. You will get a customized training program based on your level and lifestyle.

  4. How long does this program last?

    This is a 10-11 week online program.  The silver membership is 10 weeks with no nutritional advice. The gold and platinum membership is 11 weeks with nutritional support. The first week is getting your nutrition on track and then 10 weeks of training with Paul.

  5. Will I get results?

    Yes you will, you have to follow the program as to your best ability. If you put in 80%, you will get 80% results. If you put in 100%, you will get the results you want. You will also feel motivated and have more self confidence knowing Paul is there to help guide you throughout the process.

  6. How many times will we speak during the 10-11 weeks?

    This depends on what membership you have purchased. Paul will call you in the beginning to do a quick consult and introduction for every membership. For the silver membership, we communicate by email throughout the 10 weeks. For the gold and platinum membership, we communicate by email and phone throughout the 11 weeks. I touch base on Sunday of each week to see how the process is coming along. You are allowed 3 questions a week about the training or nutrition. I answer all questions within 12-24 hours.
